Meet the Team

Chris Cormack, CEO & Founder

Known throughout her marketplace as CC, Chris is a bundle of energy. She is seen all around town in her trademark gold Lexus bearing the license plates of "CC Sells".

CC started out as a stand-alone real estate agent in the 1980s, just as the local real estate market started its downward trend. She observed trends, needs and combined empathy for her customers' needs with her tough negotiating skills. She understood the emotional roller coaster house selling or buying can be. And, she fought for the best deal possible for her buyers and sellers. CC quickly gained a reputation for being the best, and her business grew. She had to add a buyer specialist to assist her, and still give the best service possible. Soon, she added other people, in administrative and agent roles, around her, and the CC Sells Team was born!

Today, CC runs the CC Sells Team as the CEO. She mentors team members, provides training opportunities, oversees the marketing and speaks nationally at various real estate related events. She brought the Team to #1 status in the nation with Keller Williams Realty in 2002, and #3 in 2004.

She rounds out her life through her involvement with her children, horseback riding and attending a number of nationwide events.

Lisa Jalufka, Managing Broker

Lisa has been with the CC Sells Team since 2001. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she was employed as a Teacher, Claims Adjustor and Office Manager. She came to CC Sells as a Listing Coordinator and received her real estate license in 2001. Lisa continued her education and received her broker's license in 2004. Lisa has been the team's office manager since 2004. In January 2005, she also assumed the role of principle broker, and is currently managing broker for the Team. Lisa works with our sellers, buyers, team members, other company realtors and brokers and keeps the office running smoothly. Lisa's past experiences bring substantial talent and ability to the many tasks she handles on a daily basis.

Chris brings over 15 years of experience in real estate to the Team. He worked for a top producing real estate team in Colorado before moving to the Northern Virginia area. Chris has experience in all types of real estate markets, which allows him to provide expert advise in today's marketplace. Chris is a strong negotiator, able to get the best deal for his clients - whether selling or buying. Chris previews on average 40 homes every week, in order to have the best grasp on the local market.


Karri Telford, Buyer Specialist

Karri has lived in Northern Virginia since 1998 and has over three years of experience in residential real estate. She is known for her commitment to personal service which compliments her enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism. She has a strong technology background that aids her market knowledge and her ability to communicate the information to her clients. Karri focuses on working with home buyers in Northern Virginia and prides herself in helping first time home buyers. Her first year in real estate, Karri was the recipient of two Top Producer Awards in buyer sales.

When not helping home buyers, Karri spends her time in the community with local theatre productions, and volunteer work with Loudoun Area Women’s Shelter (LAWS) and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Alisha has been with the Team since 2003, joining the Real Estate industry after a turn in the tele-communications industry as an upper level manager. In addition to her management experience, Alisha brings with her 4 years of military service, as well as volunteer work in the community. A local area resident since 1998, Alisha is personally and professionally familiar with the development of the local housing market. Alisha works with all types of buyers, but is extremely knowledgeable about the extensive new homes communities in the area. Alisha is heavily active in the community, including the Loudoun Transitional Shelter, and the local schools.


Margaret Spaid, Marketing Coordinator

Margaret joined the CC Sells Team in 2001 as Marketing Coordinator, handling advertisements in print media, charitable contributions and events, our Teamwork scholarship, and coordinating community events, to name just a few of her many duties. She has over 22 years experience in Information Technology and commercial marketing, sales support and administration, where she was responsible for coordination of corporate tradeshows, advertising, meetings and corporate events. She also held Executive Level Administrative Positions. All of this experience provided the groundwork for Margaret to keep all of the marketing for the CC Sells Team organized, on time, and effective. A Loudoun County resident since 1984, Margaret has seen much of the development of the county, and understands the growth and needs of the community. She uses all of her experiences and education, including her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, to help produce effective advertising even in changing markets.
